Swim Team Details

You must live in Lake Hogan Farms in order to participate on the LHF Swim Team.


Season Dates: June 12 - July 27

Practice Details:

  • Practices will be held Monday - Thursday 
  • Each practice group will consist of approximately 20 swimmers
  • Swimmers will have the ability to attend morning and/or afternoon practice each day
  • Morning practice will be grouped by age and evening practice will be grouped by skill level
  • Morning practice groups:
    • 8:30-9:15am - 8 & Unders
    • 9:30-10:30am - 9 & Overs
  • Afternoon practice groups: 
    • 4-4:45pm - Beginner Skills
    • 5-5:45pm - Intermediate Skills
    • 6-7pm - Advanced Skills

Skills Assessment Information:

  • All swimmers must complete a skills assessment 
  • To join the LHF swim team, swimmers must be able to complete a 25-yard swim without stopping and be comfortable swimming on their backs
  • Swimmers will need to sign up for a specific time slot for an assessment 
  • Assessments will last between 5-10 minutes per swimmer
  • Assessment Dates
    • Tuesday, May 23 from 4:00-6:30pm
    • Wednesday, May 24 from 4:00-6:30pm
    • Weather Make-Up Day: Thursday, May 25 from 4-6:30pm

Swim Team Fees:

  • Cost for the season is $180 per swimmer and payment will be done via credit card to BDA
  • In addition, the LHF SWIM TEAM SOCIAL FEE is $20 PER SWIMMER. The social fee covers the cost of swimmers' gifts and food. You can pay your social fee via Venmo, PayPal, check or cash:

Registration Steps

Action 1:  Create an account (register) your family and each swimmer 

  • The person creating the account must be a legal guardian of the student(s) registered or an adult student
  • Credit card information is entered during the registration process 
  • Although the annual fees automatically show up on the account, these fees will be incorporated into the $180 price before your account is invoiced

Action 2:  Agree to policy agreements by following the directions below:

  1. Click the Select link below for the LHF Swim Team
  2. Click the "Already a Customer? Click here to Login" link and login to the BDA Portal
  3. Returning customers will see a "Policy Agreement Required" popup if BDA has updated policies that need to be agreed to again
  4. From the Class Details page, click the "Add to Cart" button
  5. Click the checkbox for each swimmer interested in participating in LHF Swim Team
  6. Read and agree to the LHF Swim Team policies
  7. Click "Add" again
  8. Click "Checkout Now" 
  9. Click "Accept Enrollment Fees and Continue"
    No fees are posted to your account, you are only signing policy agreements
  10. You will get an "Enrolled" confirmation pop-up
  11. If you are a returning customer, please make sure all your portal information is up to date - including credit card information

Action 3:  Sign-Up Genius, Assessment and Payment

  • Once you agree to the policies and we confirm you live in the neighborhood, we will send you a link to the Sign-Up Genius to sign up for the Skills Assessment
  • After the Skills Assessment we will email you with your practice group and officially enroll you in swim team 
  • BDA will charge your credit card according to the LHF Swim Team Payment Policy below

Payment Policies for LHF Swim Team

Payment Policies for LHF Swim Team:

  • BDA accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
  • Although the annual fee automatically posts when creating an account, these fees will be incorporated into the $180 price before your account is invoiced
  • BDA will email an invoice within 72 hours after you receive your group placement.
  • BDA will initiate a credit card charge within 48 hours of sending the invoice. 
  • A receipt will be sent for all approved payments.

Declined Payment Policy:

  • If your card payment is declined, BDA will contact you immediately.
  • BDA will send a new invoice for the outstanding fees plus a $5 administrative fee since BDA incurs the processing fee and tracking time when the card declines regardless of the reason (ie. the card was compromised, lost, expired, etc.)
  • You have two (2) days to update your credit card information via the BDA Portal.  BDA will initiate a credit card charge immediately when the information is updated.
  • If the information is not updated and/or payment cannot be processed, the student will be removed from the class.

Cancellation Policies for Lake Hogan Farm Swim Team:

  • All requests to cancel your registration must be emailed to info@bluedolphinsaquatics.com.
  • All requests for cancellation must be received prior to the first day of practice. 
  • If your cancellation request is received after payment is made, the registration will be cancelled and a credit will be placed on your account to use at a later time.
  • If you prefer a refund over a credit, please contact us. A $25 processing fee will be charged for all refunds issued for LHF Swim Team.

Inclement Weather and Pool Closures:

  • Please note that rain does not cancel swim team practice. Part or all of practice may be cancelled for thunder and/or lightning.  
  • Credits or refunds will not be issued if a practice is cancelled due to inclement weather or other pool closures.
