You must live in Lake Hogan Farms in order to participate on the LHF Swim Team.

Season Dates: June 24-August 1

Practice Details:

• Practices will be held Monday - Thursday 
• Each practice group will consist of approximately 20 swimmers
• Swimmers will have the ability to attend morning and/or afternoon practice each day
• Morning practice groups:
  • 8 & Unders - 8:15-9am
  • 9 & Overs - 9:15-10:15am
• Afternoon practice groups: 
  • 6 & Unders - 4-4:45pm
  • 7-8 Years Olds - 4-4:45pm or 5-5:45pm depending on placement by coaches
  • 9-10 Year Olds - 5-5:45pm or 6-7pm depending on placement by coaches
  • 11 & Overs - 6-7pm

Skills Assessment Information:

• All swimmers must complete a skills assessment 
• To join the LHF swim team, swimmers:
  • Must be able to complete a 25-yard swim without stopping 
  • Be comfortable swimming on their backs 
  • Be able to follow directions in a group setting
• Swimmers will need to sign up for a specific time slot for an assessment 
• Assessments will last between 5-10 minutes per swimmer

Swim Team Fees:

• Cost for the season is $210 per swimmer and payment will be done via credit card to BDA
• In addition, the LHF SWIM TEAM SOCIAL FEE is $25 PER SWIMMER. The social fee covers the cost of swimmers' gifts, food and social activities. There are two ways to pay:
  • Venmo - @Elizabeth-Kobylarz (last four digits of cell are 2176)
  • Check or Cash - email Lisa Andrews at lisa.kobylarz@yahoo.com for her address for drop off

Eligibility Requirements:

• All swimmers must have completed a swim team assessment for the 2024 season, been on the team previously, and/or have permission from BDA to participate

Class Times:

• 4-4:30pm - 7 and 8 Year Olds
• 4:40-5:10pm - 6 and Unders
• 5:20-6:00pm - 9 and Overs
• 6:10-6:40pm - 7 and 8 Year Olds

• Thursday, June 13
• Monday, June 17
• Tuesday, June 18
• Wednesday, June 19 (4pm and 4:40pm groups only)
• Thursday, June 20

Swim Team Prep Fees: $15 per session

Payment Policies for LHF Swim Team:

• The BDA annual fee will be incorporated into the LHF Swim Team fee and charged according to the last paid annual fee
• BDA will email an invoice and initiate a credit card charge upon enrollment in Swim Team or Swim Team Prep classes
• A receipt will be sent for successful payments

Cancellation Policies for Lake Hogan Farm Swim Team:

• All requests to cancel your registration must be emailed to info@bluedolphinsaquatics.com
• Swim Team:
  • all requests for cancellation must be received prior to the first day of practice
  • a credit will be placed on your account to use at later time
  • if you prefer a refund over a credit, please contact us
    A $25 processing fee will be charged for all refunds issued for LHF Swim Team
• Swim Team Prep: 
  • no credit or refund will be issued for cancellation requests

Inclement Weather and Pool Closures:

• Rain does not cancel Swim Team Prep classes or Swim Team practice - part or all may be cancelled for thunder and/or lightning
• There is no refund or credit for missed Swim Team practices
• If an entire Swim Team Prep class is cancelled due to inclement weather or other pool closure:
  • the Swim Team Prep fee will be deleted from the account
  • if paid, that amount will be applied to unpaid fees or a credit balance will remain on the account

Swimmer Expectations:

• Be kind, compassionate and respectful to everyone at the pool with your words and actions
  This includes coaches, lifeguards, fellow swimmers and parents
• Respect others by listening when they speak
• Respect others by using kind words
• Respect what others think; you don't have to agree, but you need to be kind
• Respect others by how you use your hands, feet and equipment
